Women in Behram hold their first workshops!
Saturday, August 12th, 2006We are pleased to announce that the first series of “train the trainers” workshops has been a righteous success! Five women in Behram demonstrated their natural ability to teach the topics covered in the health education program, and this week their first independent workshops are initiating a new level of outreach in the community.
After our departure at the end of August, students from Somaiya College will continue to work with the women of the Mahila Mandals in the Behram community. We look forward to hearing how their progress goes.
